Valve Fabrication and Dispatch Executive

Ensure all assembly activities are carried out in accordance with approved BOMs, work instructions, drawings, and documented procedures, maintaining full product traceability. Monitor and verify hydrostatic and functional testing of valves and fixtures as per applicable API standards, PED requirements, and internal quality procedures, ensuring test parameters and results are properly recorded and retained. Supervise painting and surface treatment activities to ensure compliance with specified coating procedures, DFT requirements, surface preparation standards, and customer specifications. Prepare, review, and control all FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) documentation, including test reports, calibration certificates, material traceability records, and inspection checklists, ensuring readiness for customer and third‑party inspections. Plan and allocate shop floor resources based on production priorities to ensure contractual delivery dates are met without compromising quality or compliance. Supervise and guide fabrication activities to ensure conformance with approved drawings, welding procedures (where applicable), and quality standards. Ensure laser marking / identification marking of products is carried out as per approved formats to maintain product identification and traceability in line with PED and customer requirements. Ensure all inspection, measuring, and testing equipment are calibrated, within validity, and used as per documented procedures; maintain calibration records for audit purposes. Raise and track Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for consumables, tools, and equipment required for production and testing; ensure adequate buffer stock is maintained to avoid production disruptions. Train, guide, and motivate shop floor personnel on quality procedures, standard operating practices, safety requirements, and continual improvement initiatives. Ensure strict adherence to EHS requirements, statutory safety norms, and 5S / housekeeping standards, and promote a culture of safe and disciplined work practices. Prepare and submit daily and weekly production plans, status reports, and completion reports, and communicate deviations or risks to the reporting manager for timely corrective action. Support internal audits, external audits, and customer audits by providing required records, explanations, and evidence of compliance.
