Job Description
About The Company
Sangoma is a leading provider of reliable Unified Communications (UC), UCaaS, CCaaS, VoIP, and Hybrid solutions designed to empower organizations of all sizes. With a long-standing history of innovation and quality, Sangoma has established itself as a trusted name in the communications industry, delivering products that enhance connectivity, collaboration, and productivity. The company's commitment to excellence is reflected in its diverse product portfolio, which includes enterprise-grade telephony hardware, software solutions, and seamless integration capabilities. Sangoma's focus on customer satisfaction, technological advancement, and operational efficiency positions it as a key player in the rapidly evolving communications landscape.
About The Role
We are seeking a talented User Experience (UX) Designer to join our engineering team and take ownership of the end-to-end user experience of Sangoma’s desk phone and device products. This role is vital in shaping how users interact with our hardware, ensuring that every call, transfer, and interaction is intuitive, efficient, and reliable. You will be responsible for designing workflows and interfaces for embedded, resource-constrained environments that include physical keypads, small displays, touchscreens, and real-time communication requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of human–computer interaction principles and be capable of translating complex telephony functions into simple, task-driven experiences.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with firmware engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams. While remote, candidates should be located in the Eastern or Central time zones to facilitate collaboration. Your work will directly influence the usability and reliability of Sangoma’s products, impacting thousands of users worldwide. The role emphasizes a hands-on approach to UX design, testing, and iteration, with a focus on real-world usability and compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Responsibilities

We celebrate diversity and are dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected group. We believe in fairness and transparency in our hiring practices and are committed to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive.
