Position Summary...Lead workforce volume forecasting for Walmart Pharmacy locations, turning data into clear staffing actions that improve associate experience and customer care. As the forecasting owner, you’ll connect predictive insights to field execution—helping ensure the right coverage, at the right time, across a complex network. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on hiring and scheduling decisions.

About Health & Wellness Workforce Management (Analytics)

The Health & Wellness Workforce Management team sits within the Operations Coordination & Support organization and helps ensure pharmacy teams are staffed to meet customer demand. Workforce Management is organized into three pillars—Operations, Innovations, and Analytics. This role is on the Analytics pillar, partnering closely with Operations and Data Science to translate forecasting and reporting into practical, store-ready recommendations.

What you'll do...

• Own end-to-end volume forecasting for all Walmart Pharmacy locations and communicate forecast outputs clearly.
• Partner with Data Science to improve accuracy and expand predictive modeling use cases.
• Monitor store performance and provide proactive, “white glove” staffing and hiring recommendations.
• Collaborate with Operations to align store-level forecasts with network capacity and execution needs.
  
  

What you’ll bring

• Hands-on SQL (or similar coding) experience to query, validate, and analyze operational data.
• Background in analytics, reporting, or workforce management with measurable business impact.
• Experience translating data insights into actions for store/field operations.
• Ability to learn new business domains quickly and adapt forecasting approaches as needs evolve.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
