US IT Recruiter

Anna Nagar, Chennai - TN

Onsite - 5 days a week


Key Requirements:

  • Must have at least 5+ years in US IT Staffing specifically.
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Background in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or Strong understanding of IT Technologies, IT Technology trends is highly desired.
  • A good C2C network is beneficial.
  • Prior experience in technically interviewing candidates will be a plus.


Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven US IT Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment for IT positions across the United States. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sourcing, screening, and placing candidates for various IT roles, working with direct clients, W2, C2C, and 1099 requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for US IT positions
  • Analyze job requirements and understand client needs
  • Source candidates using job portals (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder), LinkedIn, and internal databases
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews
  • Coordinate interviews with clients and follow up with candidates
  • Negotiate rates/salaries and manage offer processes
  • Work on W2, C2C, and 1099 requirements
  • Maintain and update candidate database (ATS/CRM tools)
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines
  • Ensure timely submission of qualified candidates


Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of IT technologies (Java, .NET, Cloud, Data, DevOps, etc.)
  • Experience working with US clients/vendors
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing tools and job portals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Familiarity with ATS tools


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, IT, or related field
  • Prior experience in US staffing/recruitment firms
  • Knowledge of US tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099)
  • Experience in contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time hiring
