Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Golang Backend Engineer to build backend services. The engineer will work within our Conduit mono-repo, which houses gRPC workers and AWS Lambda functions, and will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, production-grade APIs. This role requires strong hands-on experience in GoLang, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, and database-driven backend systems, with a clear understanding of service-to-service communication patterns. The developer will be allocated to work directly within existing repositories with access to required repositories (Conduit Proto).

Key Responsibilities

Develop backend APIs using GoLang Work within a mono-repo architecture (Conduit repo) that includes gRPC workers and AWS Lambda functions

Design and create database tables aligned with application requirements Define and implement Protocol Buffers (Protos) for service contracts

Build gRPC workers to handle core business logic and interact with databases

Develop Lambda functions that act as the interface layer for the application and invoke gRPC workers forbackend processing

Ensure clean separation of concerns between Lambda, gRPC workers, and database layers Follow existing engineering standards, patterns, and best practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on API design and backend workflows Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with GoLang (Golang)

Experience working in mono-repo architectures

Solid experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers Backend API development experience in distributed systems

Experience creating and managing database schemas and tables

Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda

Understanding of backend service orchestration and data flow

Familiarity with microservices-style backend systems 4+ years of experience
