Urgent Hiring: Demi Chef de Partie (Continental)

Location: North Goa

We are looking for a DCDP – Continental to join the kitchen team at a new, nature-inspired café in North Goa. This is a small, independent kitchen where good food, consistency, and discipline matter more than working in a large hotel setup. If you enjoy cooking from scratch, maintaining high standards, and being part of building a new kitchen, this role could be a great fit. If you are only looking for a large five-star hotel environment with a big brigade and luxury infrastructure, this role may not be the right one for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Continental dishes such as pasta, sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, and café-style mains
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
• Manage daily prep, mise en place, and smooth service operations
• Assist the Head Chef in executing the menu and introducing new dishes
• Maintain proper storage, stock rotation, and ingredient management
• Follow strict kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
• Support the kitchen team during busy service hours
• Maintain discipline and cleanliness in the kitchen

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in Continental cuisine in a café, restaurant, or hotel kitchen
• Strong understanding of Italian and European café-style cooking
• Ability to handle a section independently during service
• Good knowledge of sauces, pasta preparation, grilling, and breakfast items
• Strong work ethic, speed, and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a small team environment
