Job Description

Title: Unity Developer ? VR/AR (Chennai) Location: Chennai, India Shift: Flexible / Night shifts as required Key Responsibilities: Design and develop immersive AR/VR experiences using Unity, bringing virtual environments to life. Create and integrate 3D environments: modelling, lighting, terrain, spatial audio, interaction logic. Develop animations and animated content (characters, objects, environment elements) and integrate them into Unity pipeline. Work closely with artists, designers, and developers to ensure seamless blend of animation, design and functionality. Optimise performance, memory usage and responsiveness for AR/VR platforms. Debug, test and iterate experiences across multiple devices or platforms, ensuring quality and stability. Stay updated with latest VR/AR trends, tools and best practices. Required Skills & Experience: Strong proficiency in Unity (C# scripting) and relevant AR/VR SDKs/tools. Demonstrable experience in building 3D environments and integrating animations into those environments. Good understanding of animation concepts (rigging, keyframe animation, blending) and ability to implement them. Experience with performance optimisation for real-time 3D/VR/AR applications. Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working in a cross-functional team. Ability to work non-standard hours including night shifts when project demands require. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in AR/VR environment development (for headset, mobile or immersive installations). Portfolio showcasing AR/VR projects, environment creation, or animation work. Familiarity with 3D modelling/animation tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max).
