Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Hybrid UI/UX Designer & UI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both user experience design and front-end development, with the ability to create visually engaging, accessible, and user-centered digital experiences.

This role will also support the maintenance and enhancement of the internal Confluence hub for the Arsenal Program. While most Confluence updates are WYSIWYG-based, some pages require custom front-end coding and design enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and modern UI/UX solutions for enterprise applications
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems using Figma
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, Sass/Less, and JavaScript
• Maintain and enhance Confluence pages, including custom-coded components
• Apply accessibility and inclusive design best practices across all deliverables
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and product teams to improve user experience
• Utilize AI-powered developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and VS Code extensions to accelerate workflows
• Incorporate user feedback and iterative design methodologies for continuous improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–10 years of overall IT experience
• 3+ years of front-end development experience
• 2+ years of UI/UX design experience
• Strong proficiency in Figma
• Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Sass/Less
• Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
• Familiarity with Confluence page management and customization
• Strong understanding of user-centered design and usability principles
• Ability to quickly learn financial services products and business processes

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in enterprise or financial services environments
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding and productivity tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
