About the Role

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to own the end-to-end design of SwipeLoan's core product surfaces. You will design intuitive, trustworthy experiences across credit products — loans, credit cards, and more — that help users discover, compare, and apply with confidence. You'll work closely with the founder, product managers, and frontend engineers to ship high-quality experiences across mobile and web.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end UI/UX design for SwipeLoan's core marketplace — loan discovery, eligibility screening, offer comparison, lender matching, onboarding, and KYC flows

Design high-fidelity, pixel-perfect screens for mobile apps (iOS and Android) and responsive web

Build wireframes, low-fidelity user flows, and interactive prototypes (mid and high fidelity) in Figma across every stage of the design cycle

Design financial UI components — offer cards, comparison tables, eligibility screens, application forms, credit dashboards — with clear information hierarchy

Define, maintain, and evolve a scalable component library and design token system for consistency across platforms

Plan and conduct user research, usability tests, and contextual interviews — translate findings into actionable design decisions

Partner with product and growth teams to identify funnel drop-off points and drive data-informed design improvements

Collaborate with frontend engineers throughout implementation and conduct thorough design QA before every release

Present design rationale clearly to non-designer stakeholders — product, engineering, and business

Required Skills

Figma — wireframes, prototypes, component variants, auto-layout, dev handoff

Wireframing & low-fidelity user flows — must have

Interactive prototyping (mid and high fidelity) — must have

Mobile app design — iOS and Android (native platform conventions) — must have

Responsive web design with mobile-first approach — must have

UI design — visual hierarchy, typography, colour theory, spacing

Information architecture and user journey mapping

Financial product UI — offer cards, dashboards, comparison tables, multi-step forms

Design systems — component libraries and design tokens

User research, usability testing, and synthesis

Interaction design and micro-interactions

Accessibility — WCAG 2.1 AA

Developer handoff and design QA

AI design tools — Figma AI, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Claude AI

Good to Have

Adobe XD / Illustrator / Photoshop

Framer or Principle for advanced prototyping

Fintech, BFSI, or credit marketplace exposure

Funnel analytics tools — Mixpanel, Hotjar

Motion design and animation principles

Understanding of credit products and lending models

Soft Skills & Professional Maturity

Clear communicator — able to present and defend design decisions to non-designers

Collaborative — works smoothly with product, engineering, and business teams

Detail-oriented — pixel accuracy, consistent spacing, edge cases handled

Self-directed — takes ownership, drives work forward without constant oversight

Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on UI/UX design experience in a product-led company, startup, agency, or fintech

Strong portfolio showcasing financial product design, data-heavy UI, or multi-step user journeys — Behance, Dribbble, Figma community, or personal site required

Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Applications, or a related field
