Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a User Interface Designer at SoftUp. The UI Designer will be responsible for:

• Creating visual designs, mockups, and ensuring consistent and engaging User Interface Design.
• Contributing to front-end development to bridge design and functionality.
• Enhancing User Experience (UX) through effective and intuitive interface solutions.
  
  

The position is based in Kathmandu, with flexibility for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Develop user-centered designs by translating business needs and user feedback into creative design solutions
• Create mockups, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for websites and mobile apps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Maintain and evolve the company’s design systems and style guides.
• Conduct usability testing to improve designs and optimize user experiences.
• Stay up-to-date with UI design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Design and deliver logos, flyers, and other graphic assets as per project requirements
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Visual Design, Mockups, and User Interface Design.
• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Proven experience in creating seamless and effective User Experiences (UX).
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• A keen eye for design aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Ability to solve complex design challenges creatively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree, Interaction Design, or a related field.
