Tube Mill Operator

To operator sets up, adjusts, and operates industrial machines that form, weld, and cut metal or plastic into tubes. This involves managing the progressive rolling process, monitoring welding and cutting, ensuring dimensions meet quality standards, and performing routine equipment maintenance

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tube Mill Operator to join our production team. You will be responsible for the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of tube manufacturing machinery. The ideal candidate ensures continuous production flow while meeting strict quality and safety standards

Key Responsibilities :-

• Machine Operation: Safely set up, operate, and tend to [ERW / Stainless Steel] tube mill machines.
• Process Control: Monitor and adjust machine parameters (speed, tension, welding, sizing, and cutting) to meet product specifications.
• Material Handling: Load steel coils into the machinery, spot-weld coil ends, and guide materials smoothly through the production line.
• Quality Control: Continuously check tube dimensions, wall thickness, weld quality, and straightness.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, inspection, and lubrication) to prevent downtime and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of production logs, hour-by-hour boards, and quality checklists.
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols, use required PPE, and maintain a clean 5S workspace

Qualifications :-

• Education: ITI (Turner/Machinist/Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering .
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 4 years of proven experience operating ERW or Stainless Steel tube mill machines.
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint/drawing reading, and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.
