Role Description The Tube Mill Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Umargam, responsible for operating and monitoring tube milling machinery to achieve required production volume and quality. The role involves setting up machines, adjusting parameters, and performing routine checks to ensure accurate dimensions, smooth finishes, and adherence to specifications. The operator will inspect products during and after machining, record production data, and collaborate with quality control personnel to address defects or process deviations. Daily tasks include performing basic preventive maintenance, reporting equipment issues, following safety procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Tube Mill Operator will also support training of new team members and coordinate with supervisors and other production staff to meet shift targets.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Milling and Machining skills, including experience operating tube mills or similar metalworking equipment.
• Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, with the ability to measure, inspect, and document product dimensions and surface quality against set standards.
• Candidates should possess Training skills, including willingness to learn, follow work instructions, and help guide colleagues on machine operation and safety practices.
• Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills, including basic troubleshooting, routine machine checks, and reporting of technical issues to maintenance teams.
• Relevant skills such as knowledge of industrial safety procedures, ability to read basic technical drawings, and comfort working in a manufacturing environment are beneficial.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; prior experience in tube mills, rolling mills, or metal fabrication will be an advantage.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle repetitive tasks, and work in a shift-based schedule as required by production demands.
