Job Description

  • Graduate of any Finance related course
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience
  • Skills-Treasury, Finance, Banking, Accounting

  • Supports the daily activities and deliverables of Treasury. Will also serve as the secondary point person of Treasury to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensures that the daily cash management activities are diligently executed in accordance with the directive of Management, as well as with SMF’s policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Assists in monitoring the overall company’s daily cash position.
  • Anticipates short-term borrowing needs and communicates them to proper personnel.
  • Resolves foreign exchange (FX) currency issues in terms of settlement of delivery.
  • Executes funds movement and investment transactions.
  • Recommends and implements improvements to current cash management processes.
  • Implements cash management systems/facilities, together with the necessary cascade to the organization
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls and other rules governing cash transactions and banking.
  • Interfaces with partner banks with regards to any operational requirements
  • Manages, maintains and administers bank relationships and reports
  • Manages the Key Performance metrics of the Treasury Team Members
  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate superior
