About The Role
As a Procurement Officer - Travel Desk, you will be responsible for handling sourcing, bidding, negotiating, and procurement for the requirements of the bank to be able to purchase quality items at least possible cost. The role will contribute to the organization by the savings it brings in procuring these items for the Bank.

As a Procurement Officer - Travel Desk, you will be responsible for handling sourcing, bidding, negotiating, and procurement for the requirements of the bank to be able to purchase quality items at least possible cost. The role will contribute to the organization by the savings it brings in procuring these items for the Bank.
How you’ll contribute
- Assesses an issue and seeks superior's guidance when needed prior to making a decision for a complex problem
- Immediately responds to all incoming emails and calls to ensure proper and on-time support is given
- Receives requests from business / internal clients and review for compliance to policy.
- Prepares monthly accomplishment report from data extracted from ERP system to gauge performance.
- Endorse billing together with supporting documents for payment processing
- Conducts sourcing and bidding based on submitted requirements to supply business needs.
- Negotiates for best cost without sacrificing quality and value
- Monitors supplier performance through follow-up to ensure on-time delivery of services
- Bachelor’s or college degree holder
- At least 2 to 4 years of Travel Desk experience
- Knowledge in supply chain, bidding, and supplier management, negotiation process
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Procurement or Oracle ERP modules
- With strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
