Job Summary
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Training Coordinator at Defence Bakery Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi. The role is responsible for driving structured learning and development initiatives across all outlets to ensure consistency in product quality, service standards, and operational excellence. The incumbent will identify training needs, design impactful programs, and ensure effective execution and tracking of employee development.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify operational gaps on the floor and design targeted training interventions to improve efficiency and service delivery
- Develop and implement structured training programs covering product knowledge, SOPs, customer service, sales, and grooming standards
- Drive implementation of the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across all kitchen and service areas
- Conduct regular training sessions for new hires and existing staff, ensuring consistency across outlets
- Integrate 5S and SOP practices into daily operations through checklists, visual standards, and workflow alignment
- Conduct periodic audits (including 5S compliance), track gaps, and implement corrective action plans
- Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, performance metrics, and productivity improvement tracking
- Maintain training records, audit dashboards, and support employee development and succession readiness
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduation / Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Management (Preferred)
Post-Graduation / Advance Diploma or Certificate in Business management is desirable
Certification in Training and Development (Desirable)
Experience:
+2 years' experience in FMCG/Retail
+2 years' experience conducting end to end training modules (designing/deploying) and ensure capability development
