Trade Compliance Analyst

Our client, a leader in oil and gas, is seeking a dedicated Trade Compliance Analyst to join their dynamic team. As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the compliance department, ensuring data accuracy, and enhancing the efficiency of trade screening processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will enable you to thrive within this organization.

What's the Job?

• Interpret and analyze Restricted Party Screening results to identify potential sanctions and eliminate false positives.
• Apply data and analytics discipline to improve data quality and integrity within the restricted party screening process.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to trade compliance activities.
• Upload trade compliance documents such as Certificates of Origin (COOs) and End-User certificates into organizational databases like SharePoint and SAP.
• Review received documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and organizational standards, including following up on outstanding documentation.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Advanced experience with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience as a Document Controller, Data Entry Clerk, or similar role.
• Experience with SharePoint 2016, including site management and permission settings.
• At least 1 year of general SAP experience, familiar with T-codes for data lookup related to customers, vendors, and banks.
