We are seeking a Toxicologist/Pharmacologist to join our team!


Responsibilities Include


  • Review and evaluation of published and unpublished data on consumer chemicals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides and other chemicals of environmental concern for compliance with Federal regulations (U.S. FDA, and EU), including data requirements for regulatory frameworks published by the U.S. EPA, U.S. FDA, and ECHA.
  • Review toxicology studies on a wide range of chemicals.
  • Preparation of reports summarizing results from various EPA Test Guideline and non-Guideline studies, and peer-reviewed journal articles, on conventional, biochemical, or microbial pesticides, and assessment of study adequacy and the impact of the study findings on pesticide registrations.
  • Review of toxicological data and assessment of lowest-adverse effect levels (LOAELs) and no-adverse effect levels (NOAELs).
  • Statistical analysis of toxicology data.
  • Data audits and quality assurance reviews of reports prepared by other scientists.
  • Use of toxicology and exposure data in the development of risk assessments.


Qualifications


  • M.S. or Ph.D. in toxicology, pharmacology, chemistry or related life science.
  • A thorough understanding of experimental design and analysis, including experience in the statistical evaluation of experimental data;
  • Understanding of toxicology principles;
  • Good organizational skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Experience in the preparation and editing of technical reports in clear, standard English; and
  • Proficiency in the use of LLMs and AI tools.
