Role Description

This is a full-time Tower Engineer position located on-site in kottayam. The Tower Engineer will be responsible for inspecting, installing, and maintaining telecommunications towers, addressing technical issues, and ensuring safety regulations are adhered to at all times. Daily tasks include performing site surveys, troubleshooting network equipment, managing routine repairs and upgrades, and documenting operational procedures. The role requires direct collaboration with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operation and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Btech in electrical or electronics

Job Responsibilites

• Installation and commissioning of telecom tower equipment
• BTS, antenna, RRU, microwave, and feeder cable installation
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom sites
• Tower climbing and troubleshooting network issues
• Alignment of antennas and microwave links
• Electrical and earthing checks at tower sites
• Coordination with field teams and supervisors
• Maintaining safety standards during tower work
• Preparing site reports and documentation
• Supporting network uptime and service restoration activities
