Tools Engineer

We are hiring a Special Service Tools Development Engineer with strong experience in diesel engine repair, diagnostics, and special tooling development. The role focuses on designing, developing, validating, and deploying specialized service tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams and manufacturing partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, prototype, and validate special service tools for diesel engine repair, diagnostics, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with external manufacturers to ensure quality, cost, and timely production of tools.
• Identify tooling gaps and implement solutions to improve repair efficiency and diagnostic accuracy.
• Standardize and rationalize special tools across service networks.
• Manage rollout of tool kits to service centers and dealers.
• Prepare user manuals, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support to field service teams for tool-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in diesel engine repair, overhauling, and diagnostics.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in special tool design, validation, or service engineering.
• Ability to convert field service challenges into practical tooling solutions.
• Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills
