Tools & Design - Head

We are seeking an experienced Tools & Design Head to lead our design and development team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tool design, tool development, and new product development (NPD).

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of tools and dies for various manufacturing processes
Develop and implement new product development (NPD) strategies to improve product quality and reduce production costs
Manage tooling projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and quality to ensure seamless integration of tools and dies
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including CAD/CAM designs, tooling specifications, and manufacturing process plans
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in tool design and development, and implement best practices within the team

Requirements

5-8 years of experience in tool design, tool development, and new product development (NPD)
Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Siemens NX
Experience with tooling project management and manufacturing process planning
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
