Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Third Officer at T-Erudite Ship Managers Pvt. Ltd., based in Mumbai. The Third Officer will be responsible for assisting in navigational watchkeeping, maintaining safety and firefighting equipment, monitoring onboard operations, and ensuring compliance with maritime regulations. The role requires coordinating with the crew, participating in cargo operations, and assisting with ensuring the overall safety and security aboard the vessel.

Qualifications
- Navigation skills, including watchkeeping, passage planning, and knowledge of navigational equipment
- Experience with safety protocols, knowledge of safety and firefighting equipment, and emergency procedures
- Strong understanding of maritime rules, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Teamwork, communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with crew and senior officers
- Knowledge of ship maintenance, cargo operations, and operational readiness
- Possession of a valid Certificate of Competency as a Third Officer in compliance with STCW standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a maritime environment
- Relevant sea experience and good physical fitness
