Job Description
Role Description Role Overview We are seeking a Genesys Cloud IVR QA Tester who will ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of our Genesys Cloud IVR applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about improving user experience through systematic and thorough testing. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Genesys Cloud IVR applications. Conduct functional, regression, usability, performance, and security testing across Genesys Cloud deployments. Identify, log, and track software defects using a defect management system with clear reproduction steps. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. Review user stories and requirements to identify testable scenarios and potential ambiguities. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare industry standards. Maintain test documentation including RTM, defect reports, and test case traceability. Stay updated with the latest Genesys Cloud features and integrate them into the testing framework. Provide feedback for continuous improvement of the Genesys Cloud IVR platform and QA processes. Mandatory Skills 3?5 years of hands-on Software Testing experience, preferably in Healthcare or Contact Centre domains. Strong working knowledge of Genesys Cloud CX (PureCloud) ? including call routing, ACD, IVR, chat, and EHR integrations. Proficiency in Manual Testing, Test Case Design, and Defect Lifecycle Management. Experience executing functional, regression, and integration tests for Genesys Cloud applications. Familiarity with Testing Tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or HP ALM. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, standards, and QA processes. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and tight deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience with Avtex OneView and Salesforce?Genesys Cloud adapter. Familiarity with Amazon Lex, Google Dialogflow CX, or Genesys Cloud Foundry. Exposure to automation testing tools or scripting (optional but advantageous). Educational Qualification Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Key Performance Indicators Timely completion of assigned test activities. 100% coverage of requirements/user stories through test cases. High defect identification accuracy and low reopen rates. Adherence to QA standards, traceability, and documentation quality.
