Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with hands-on experience in regression testing and application support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through effective testing practices. The candidate should have strong analytical skills and experience in identifying and resolving defects. Basic knowledge of automation testing is a plus. Candidates with prior experience in travel technology or travel domain related experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure functionality, performance, and usability meet business requirements.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Conduct regression testing to validate that existing functionalities continue to work after new changes or updates.
• Identify, document, and track defects/bugs, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform re-testing and validation of fixes and updates.
• Provide production/application support by investigating reported issues and coordinating with technical teams for resolution.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA feedback during the development lifecycle.
• Maintain test documentation, reports, and testing artifacts.
• Collaborate with development, business analysts, and support teams to ensure high product quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing processes and QA standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Manual Testing and Regression Testing.
• Experience working in an Application Support or Production Support role.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle.
• Experience creating test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have:

• Basic knowledge or hands-on exposure to Automation Testing tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Early experience in travel technology will be preferred, or candidates must be willing to work in travel technology.

Experience:

• 0.6 Years - 2 years of experience in Manual Testing / QA and support

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
