Test Lead (Quality Control)

Position: TEST LEAD (Quality Control)

Experience: 4 – 10 years

Location: Bangalore

Skills & Responsibilities :

• Must have experience in Manual testing.
• Knowledge of Automation testing is optional
• Must have knowledge in testing processes.
• Will be responsible for everyday testing tasks and recommendations for releases.
• Plan and schedule testing activities.
• Individually contribute to all critical Testing activities.
• Should have Primary skill: Functional Testing/Manual Testing, Executing & Reviewing of test cases.
• Experience in identifying/logging defects.
• Experience in test lifecycle.
• Exposure to SQL and experience in database testing.
• Identifies test scope, test requirements and coordinates/manages test cycles.
• Review test plan conducts walkthroughs of test deliverables.
• Documents the risk and works to create a risk mitigation plan.
• Provides root cause identification analysis and reports.
• Provides test trend reports.
• Works with the project team to recommend go/no go to production.
• Defines and creates detailed training plans and co-ordinates training sessions when required.
• Organizes, prepares, and distributes communication plan Good Knowledge on java, TestNG, Eclipse/Netbeans IDE and testing concepts.
• Providing solutions to technical problems and implementing best practices, coordination capability and communication skills.

Requirements:

• Should handle complete Quality Control of the Releases.
• Ensure that the Testing team is fully utilised and 100% ROI on each individual resource.
• Ensure all Testing reports are sent to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Ensure All bugs are effectively driven to closure by working with the development team.
• Ensure that bug free software and Devices are delivered.

Education :

MCA or BE with Computer Science/EEE/IT/E&CE/Information Science
