Test Engineer
Work location - Kochi, Kerala
- Understand requirements and design, execute manual test cases, while identifying candidates for automation
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Validate backend data using SQL
- Test APIs using tools like Postman or similar
- Log, track defects, and JQL(filters) in JIRA/ADO or similar tool, and work closely with developers and stakeholders
- Support releases, UAT, and production validations when needed
- Solid understanding of testing fundamentals and processes
- Good attitude, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset
- Comfortable working overlapping US hours and occasional weekend support
- Clear communicator (written and verbal)
- Creative troubleshooting of technical problems
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
- Ability to think outside the box
- Ability to work in a team
