General Summary

We are seeking a motivated Test Engineer to join our Test team at Qualcomm, Chennai. This role focuses on platform-level testing of Linux device drivers in Wireless Router SoC environments. You will be involved in validating system components, ensuring platform security, and benchmarking performance across subsystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct platform testing of Linux device drivers including USB, PCIe, DDR, Flash controller, and Power Management.
• Validate platform security features such as Secure Boot, ARM TrustZone, OP-TEE, and Trusted Firmware-A (TF-A).
• Work with bootloaders like U-Boot for system bring-up and validation.
• Execute performance benchmarks for CPU, DDR, PCIe, and Cache subsystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Document test plans, results, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  
  
  

Required Skills

• Experience in Linux device driver testing and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with platform security technologies: Secure Boot, ARM TrustZone, OP-TEE, TF-A.
• Hands-on experience with U-Boot and system boot processes.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture and operating system subsystems.
• Proficiency in performance benchmarking tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in platform testing or embedded systems.
