Test Automation Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong experience in C# to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for our applications. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about quality, has strong coding skills, and can work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure robust and reliable software delivery. Exp Level: 8+ Years Location, Hyd, bang, Kolhapur & Vizag N.P: Immediate to 30 Days Mode of work: Hybrid Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using C#, .NET, and Selenium/WebDriver . Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing . Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.). Collaborate with developers and QA to review requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and contribute to test planning. Perform code reviews for test automation code to ensure quality and best practices. Identify, analyze, and report defects with clear and detailed documentation. Build and maintain reusable test utilities and tools for the team. Work with REST APIs , using tools like Postman, RestSharp, or similar. Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Grooming, Retrospectives, Stand-ups). Ensure high coverage by implementing unit, functional, regression, performance, and security tests where applicable. Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, automation strategy, and coding practices. Required Skills & Experience Overall 8+ yrs of experience and strong proficiency in C# , .NET , and OOP concepts . 3 to 4 yrs of Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver with C# Experience with API automation using C#, RestSharp, or similar libraries. Good understanding of automation frameworks such as Page Object Model (POM), BDD (SpecFlow), and hybrid frameworks. Experience with version control systems like Git. Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity). Experience with unit testing frameworks like NUnit, xUnit, MSTest. Working knowledge of SQL for basic database validation. Understanding of the SDLC , STLC , and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Experience with Mobile automation using Appium etc is a plus Experience with any other automation Tools like Testcomplete, Cypress is a plus
