Up to £50,000 + Company Car (OTE + £20k)

We’re excited to be supporting a growing technology business that’s looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team. If you enjoy building long‑term customer relationships, spotting new opportunities, and playing a key role in driving revenue and growth, this could be a great fit.

This is a field‑based role covering the Northwest and wider UK, with regular visits to customer sites and occasional travel to our HQ for sales meetings and events.

About the Role

In this position, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of key customers, getting under the skin of their business, understanding what matters to them, and helping them achieve long‑term success. You’ll be their go‑to person — supporting, advising, and looking for new ways to add value while also identifying opportunities to grow the partnership.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building strong relationships with a group of strategic customers
  • Developing partnership strategies that support mutual growth
  • Identifying new business opportunities through insight and market awareness
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
  • Understanding customer challenges and finding ways to solve them
  • Working closely with internal teams across Sales, Marketing, Purchasing & Support
  • Sharing customer insights to help shape internal thinking and decision‑making
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market changes
  • Meeting KPIs and revenue targets across your accounts
  • Supporting sales meetings, events, and occasional evening activities
  • Tracking partnership performance and using data to guide recommendations

About You

We’re looking for someone who is commercially driven, confident working with senior stakeholders, and genuinely passionate about building long‑term customer partnerships. You’ll bring:

  • A solid background in business development, sales or partnerships — ideally within the CRM, SI, software, or IT channel space
  • Strong commercial instincts and the ability to uncover and convert new opportunities
  • Experience growing revenue through strategic customer relationships
  • Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills
  • Confidence presenting ideas and solutions to senior decision‑makers
  • Strong analytical thinking, with a talent for using data to influence decisions
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams
  • A proactive, positive approach to supporting customers and colleagues

Location
