Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in selling SaaS solutions to SMBs.
  • Experience in working with C-level executives, and in influencing buying decisions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, AI solutions, security solutions, or other collaboration suites.
  • Experience in technical or sales engineering, computer science or information systems.
  • Understanding of the technology and cloud computing market, and of Google Cloud products (Google Workspace, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Ability to self prospect, build customer lists and drive a strong outbound program for pipeline generation.
  • Ability to build influential relationships and work with channel partners, to deliver results in a cross-functional/matrixed environment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

The Google Cloud SMB team focuses on working with small- and medium-sized businesses.

In this role, you will help to drive sales by using a range of methods/channels. You will deliver the highest quality customer experience, bring Google's portfolio into small and medium-sized (SMB) companies across India, and manage complex customer and stakeholder relationships with ease.

Responsibilities

  • Manage opportunities through the entire cycle simultaneously, work with cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary customer contact for all adoption-related activities.
  • Work towards assigned strategic goals while prioritizing an effective customer experience to customers and prospects, these goals include the ability to cross-sell AI solutions and products that compliment Google Workspace and drive meaningful customer outcomes.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
  • Work with the customer engineers and trusted Google Cloud partners as a key member of the sales team to maximize business results and develop opportunities with small and medium businesses.
  • Drive long term planning and initiatives in collaboration with peers and cross-functional teams to influence customer acquisition, growth and experience.
