About the Role
The Territory Manager-SME Loans is responsible for sourcing loans through Direct Sales Teams (DSTs), and existing Dealerships or Stores, while building and maintaining a high-quality loan portfolio. The Territory Manager-SME Loans is responsible for sourcing loans through Direct Sales Teams (DSTs), and existing Dealerships or Stores, while building and maintaining a high-quality loan portfolio. This role involves managing a team, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring effective communication across various channels. The role holder must ensure strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines, balancing business growth with risk management to support the broader objectives of the bank.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Recruitment and training of DSTs and onboarding dealerships or stores.
- Source and manage business through DSTs and Dealerships
- Acquire new customers and ensure consistent loan disbursement volumes.
- Maintain a high-quality loan portfolio by minimizing delinquencies and rejections.
- Stay updated on retail asset products, operations, and current market trends.
- Identify evolving market dynamics and develop strategies for channel development and customer acquisition.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Recommend improvements to sales processes and policies to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Work closely with Collection team to reduce net credit loss and delinquency rates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support automation and digital initiatives.
- Contribute to the bank’s growth targets by supporting strategic sales and service initiatives.
Education
- Graduate in any discipline (Full-time).
- Postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in retail banking,
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication, Team management, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to drive business growth while maintaining portfolio quality and compliance.
- Understanding of digital banking.
- High level of integrity and execution orientation.
