Job Description

We are seeking for skilled and experienced Teradata Solution Architect and with a strong background on ETL/ELT development. You will be responsible for playing a strategic role in designing, implementing and maintaining scalable, high-performance data solutions using Teradata technologies. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams to architect data platforms that support analytics, reporting, and decision-making across the enterprise. Work Location - Hyderabad/Noida Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Architecture Lead the design and architecture of enterprise data warehouse solutions using Teradata. Define data models, integration strategies, and performance optimization techniques. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture blueprints. Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices Deep expertise in Teradata architecture, utilities (TPT, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad), and SQL Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes. Technical Leadership Provide technical guidance to development and operations teams on Teradata technologies. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies. Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to design principles. Stakeholder Collaboration Work with business analysts, data scientists, and executives to understand data needs. Present architectural solutions and roadmaps to stakeholders and leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems. Performance & Scalability Design solutions that ensure high availability, scalability, and performance. Implement best practices for query optimization, indexing, and workload management. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements. Governance & Security Define data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Architect secure data environments with appropriate access controls and encryption. Support audit and compliance initiatives related to data architecture. Project Management & Delivery Lead architecture efforts in large-scale data projects and migrations. Develop project plans, timelines, and resource estimates for architecture deliverables. Ensure timely delivery of architectural components and documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor?s or master?s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field 12+ years of experience with at least 7 years in Teradata environments. Strong hands-on experience with Teradata SQL, Teradata utilities . Proficient with scripting language Python, PowerShell for automation. Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes , and data warehousing concepts. Experience working with Azure cloud -based environment is a plus Experience with Data governance, data security, data quality, data lineage, data catalog and compliance practices Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: Teradata certifications (e.g., Teradata Certified Professional, Teradata certified Master ). Exposure of data lake architectures and integration with Teradata. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development environments.
