Telecom Systems Engineer – OSS & C++

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecom OSS Developer with strong expertise in C++ development, Linux/Unix environments, and Telecom OSS/BSS systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting telecom network management and OSS applications while collaborating with global customers and cross-functional teams. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, hands-on development expertise, and a deep understanding of telecom protocols and network management concepts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Telecom OSS platforms and network management applications.
• Develop robust and scalable solutions using C++, STL, OOPs concepts, and Design Patterns.
• Implement and optimize multi-threaded and concurrent applications.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues and defects.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
• Contribute to technical solution design, automation initiatives, and process improvements.
• Support deployment, performance tuning, debugging, and continuous enhancement activities.
• Participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of telecom solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: 4–8 years of relevant experience.
• Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad.
• Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in C++ Development.
• Experience working in Telecom OSS/BSS environments and network management domains.
