Roles & Responsibilities:

• Configure and administer IBM Netcool OMNIbus, NOI, Impact, and WebGUI.
• Develop and maintain Netcool probes, gateways, and ObjectServer rules.
• Perform event correlation, alarm suppression, deduplication, and root cause analysis.
• Integrate Netcool with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, SNMP, Syslog, Kafka, and JMS.
• Monitor telecom and IT infrastructure and provide L2/L3 production support.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of monitoring systems.
• Develop scripts for automation and operational improvements.
• Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.

Experience Required:

• 4-6 years of experience in IBM Netcool administration and development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Netcool OMNIbus, NOI, Impact, and WebGUI.
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration and Shell, Perl, or Python scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL, Oracle, MySQL, SNMP, TCP/IP, and REST/SOAP integrations.
• Experience in telecom monitoring, event management, and production support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
