GHT Door Hardware Private Limited, is a leading provider of hardware solutions worldwide with a reputed customer base for the last 30years. As part of expansion plan GHT is setting up local manufacturing line for door closers, locks near Chennai. Our products are in line with European and American standard and mostly cater to the door and hardware industry.
We make products for OEM’s as per the customer design and make products as per Original design (ODM). Our clientele includes leading brands national and international.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled engineer to drive the costing, and development of hardware solutions based on customer preferences. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with commercial knowledge for making techno commercial proposal. The role shall include creating product list, article numbers, order processing etc.. This may require understanding of sales coordination under manufacturing setup. The candidate should be able to understand, translate, develop design and collaborate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and the production team.
Job Description :
1. Making technical and commercial proposals as per client requirement.
2. Advocate customer and business needs throughout the technical evaluation of product proposal (planning, concept, design, sourcing and pricing)
3. Interact with other factories in sourcing products, components and seek clarification
4. Coordinating activities related to costs, timelines, methods.
5. Define product and component, create article numbers, and develop individual price list.
6. Interact closely with customers in understanding the requirement, volumes and future projections
7. Process orders and issue sale orders.
8. Communicate with customers regarding the status of orders and despatches.
Must have :
1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. 3–5 years of relevant experience in product pricing, customization, and costing.
3. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD).
4. Must have a techno commercial background and has understanding of sales, order processing, coordination.
5. Ability to manage multiple products and customers.

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with focus and precision
