Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer with 4–5 years of experience in creating, managing, and maintaining technical documentation for software products and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MadCap Flare, Git, and technical documentation best practices. The candidate will collaborate with product managers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to produce high-quality user guides, release notes, online help systems, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation including user guides, installation guides, API documentation, knowledge base articles, and release notes.
• Develop and manage online help systems and documentation portals using MadCap Flare.
• Work closely with engineering, product management, and QA teams to gather technical information and document product features.
• Maintain documentation version control using Git and follow documentation branching and release processes.
• Ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, and adherence to organizational standards and style guides.
• Create visuals, diagrams, and workflow documentation to enhance user understanding.
• Review and update existing documentation based on product enhancements and customer feedback.
• Participate in product release cycles and deliver documentation aligned with software releases.
• Support documentation localization and publishing activities when required.
• Continuously improve documentation processes, templates, and standards.

Required Skills

• 4–5 years of experience as a Technical Writer in software product or IT environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with MadCap Flare.
• Experience using Git for version control and documentation management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience creating user guides, online help, release notes, and knowledge base articles.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to different audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Markdown, HTML, CSS, or XML.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar collaboration tools.
• Experience documenting APIs, cloud platforms, SaaS products, or enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of information architecture and content management best practices.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
