Summary

We are looking for an Engineering Technical Writer who can simplify complex technical information into clear and structured documentation. The role involves creating user manuals, technical guides, and documentation that support engineering teams and end users.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Publications level I and II/ VSPI Author

Use VSPI authoring application to flag images as Customer IP. Will train upon onboarding. This is a specific application with internal requirements.

Candidate must have technical illustrator experience in rendering CAD (2D/3D) images and understanding of technical mechanical drawaing and basic mechanical engineering knowledge. As the job entails to recognize if mechanical dwgs are compliant with specified criteria. And understand engineering language such as bill of materials, exploded views, session cut, session detail, top, bottom, front, back views etc.

Required Skills

Experience with technical illustration and CAD image rendering (2D/3D).
Understanding of mechanical engineering drawings and conventions.
Ability to interpret engineering documentation and terminology.
Proficiency in UGNX and Creo CAD for creating and interpreting technical drawings.
Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering concepts.
Ability to identify whether mechanical drawings comply with defined technical and IP criteria.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering education
2 to 5 Years of Experience
