Area(s) of responsibility Job Description System Administrator Department: IT Infra Summary Plan, implement, oversee and maintain server infrastructure and projects. Job Duties & Responsibilities Complete Knowledge of windows 2016/2019/2022 server Installation and configuration windows Active directory 2022 Complete Knowledge of group policies Manage and maintain the on-premises Active Directory infrastructure. Perform routine tasks such as user and group management, GPO (Group Policy Object) administration, and DNS management. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Active Directory replication, authentication, and other directory service components Administer Azure Active Directory, including user provisioning, conditional access policies, and application integration. Implement and manage Azure AD Connect for hybrid identity scenarios. Monitor and respond to Azure AD security alerts and implement necessary remediation steps. Enforce security policies and access controls to ensure compliance with organizational requirements. Implement and enforce security best practices for Active Directory and Azure AD Complete Knowledge of VMware administration Proactively manage and maintain servers Administer and support core Microsoft, Cisco, VMware and Dell-EMC technologies Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment Define and document best practices and support procedures Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment Define and document best practices and support procedures Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required. Design, install and configure internal and customer facing servers Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports etc Scheduled /Unscheduled reporting on various parameters in O365 Mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologies Minimum Requirements Bachelor?s degree in computer science (or related area) preferred. Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired. Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019, 2022) Good Knowledge of Azure Active Directory Conditional Access Knowledge of on-premise AD Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration Ability to troubleshoot server issues including back bone infrastructure issues Knowledge of power shell Knowledge of virtual environment Managing more than 100 Windows Server infrastructures Good understanding of LAN/WAN networking Group Policy configuration Microsoft Exchange 2016 or latest, Microsoft O365 Advanced knowledge of VMware Strong communication and documentation skills Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment Must be organized and can manage projects of varying length Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently Must be a team player
