JOB DESCRIPTION : Position: Technical Sales & Marketing Manager (Online Condition Monitoring) Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic, technically proficient sales leader to drive business expansion for our online condition monitoring solutions across the industrial and utility sectors. The role involves promoting advanced asset health monitoring technologies, managing strategic customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities within high-voltage systems and industrial automation environments. Key Responsibilities : Formulate and execute strategic sales initiatives for online condition monitoring solutions across power generation, transmission, distribution, and industrial sectors. Engage with utilities, EPC contractors, and industrial clients to understand their asset reliability challenges and recommend real-time monitoring solutions for equipment such as transformers, motors, generators, switchgear, and substations. Promote fiber-optic?based monitoring technologies for diverse applications, including power cable diagnostics, perimeter security, pipeline integrity, bridge monitoring, conveyor systems, and railway track surveillance. Deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and solution briefs highlighting product features, system capabilities, and return-on-investment benefits. Coordinate with engineering, design, and project execution teams to ensure accurate technical configuration, cost estimation, and smooth implementation of solutions. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients to enhance customer retention and secure ongoing business. Lead tender processes, including bid preparation, quotation, and contract negotiation, ensuring a balance between profitability and customer satisfaction. Monitor market trends, competitor landscape, and emerging technologies in digital asset monitoring, IoT-based diagnostics, and predictive maintenance. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and technical forums to enhance brand visibility in the condition monitoring sector. Required Qualifications & Skills : Bachelor?s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering, or M.Sc. in Physics (Master?s degree preferred). 5?7 years of experience in solution-oriented or technical sales, preferably in condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, or industrial automation. Strong technical understanding of high-voltage electrical systems, including transformers, circuit breakers, motors, and substation equipment. Demonstrated ability to develop technical proposals, budgetary estimates, and commercial offers tailored to customer requirements. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer engagement skills. Self-motivated, result-driven professional with strong organizational abilities and capability to manage multiple tasks independently. Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, product demonstrations, and onsite evaluations. Preferred Attributes : Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance practices within the utility sector. Proficiency in multiple languages (English, Hindi, and Bengali preferred).
