The Technical Project Manager – Product Implementation plays a pivotal role in translating these capabilities into successful client outcomes by owning end-to-end product implementations across QA, DevOps, 9X, and AI Products. This role combines technical depth in Java and microservices with delivery governance, people leadership, and direct client engagement. As the function evolves, the leader will also build a more client-embedded delivery model that resolves complex implementation challenges and identifies opportunities for deeper partnership.

What You Bring

• 9-12 years of experience in software implementation, technical delivery management, or program management, including ownership of budget and risk for client-facing engagements.
• Recent, demonstrable hands-on Java proficiency with strong understanding of microservices architecture; this role is expected to engage directly with the codebase during live implementations and escalations.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams spanning QA, DevOps/infrastructure, engineering, and product implementation.
• Strong client-facing capability, including executive-level governance, status conversations, escalation management, and stakeholder alignment.
• A T-shaped skill profile anchored in Java and microservices, with working fluency across QA, DevOps, release management, and deployment practices.
• Track record of managing multiple concurrent projects or client engagements, including scope, change requests, dependencies, budgets, schedules, risks, and quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with genuine comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving client environments.
• Openness to increasing onsite and client-site presence as the role evolves into a more client-embedded delivery model.
  
  

Desired Skills

• Experience with Spring/Spring Boot, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for Java microservices.
• Exposure to forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or embedded consulting models.
• Additional hands-on capability in scripting, data migration tooling, systems integration, or API-based implementation work.
• Experience partnering with sales or account teams to identify expansion opportunities during client engagements.
• People-management experience at the manager-of-managers level, including leading functional leads and building delivery leadership layers.
• Experience in banking, fintech, or enterprise software implementation environments.
• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled product delivery.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or an equivalent project/program management certification is a plus.
  
  

Your Role

As An Implementation Lead, You Will

• Own the delivery plan, budget, schedule, quality, risk register, and client outcomes for every active Product Implementation engagement.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders, while running governance cadences including status reporting and steering committee updates.
• Manage scope, change requests, sequencing, and cross-engagement dependencies across implementations.
• Maintain hands-on fluency in Java and microservices to read, debug, troubleshoot, and help resolve implementation issues directly rather than routing every technical problem to engineering.
• Make or validate architecture, integration, configuration, and sequencing decisions for 9X implementations.
• Partner with DevOps on release management, deployment pipelines, and environment stability, and with QA on test strategy, defect management, and release-readiness criteria.
• Set and enforce implementation methodology, delivery standards, and execution discipline across all engagements.
• Lead the QA, DevOps, 9X, and AI Products functional pools, including hiring, performance management, career development, and future Project Lead staffing.
• Coordinate shared dependencies with Core Banking Services, Data Services, Product Support, and other delivery functions.
• Build toward a regular onsite, client-embedded presence and develop the ability to resolve ambiguous technical or process issues in real time.
• Partner with sales and account teams to identify practical expansion opportunities that emerge during client delivery.
