Technical Lead

Position Summary We are seeking a Technical Lead to oversee the end-to-end development and delivery of our cloud-based Property & Casualty Claims Management System . This role requires a hands-on technical expert who is equally comfortable with architecture and coding as they are with leading a team. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in modern Microsoft technologies , strong leadership qualities, and ideally, domain knowledge in insurance and claims processing. Job Description: Serve as the technical owner of the Claims product line, ensuring high-quality design, implementation, and support of software components. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a cross-functional team of developers, QA, and analysts. Architect and develop scalable solutions using C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL, and Microsoft Azure . Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices including microservices architecture, GIT workflows, and continuous integration. Experience integrating with third-party insurance platforms or data providers (e.g., CCC, Verisk, LexisNexis). Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure -as-code concepts. Perform and oversee code reviews to ensure coding best practices and maintainable, secure codebases. Collaborate with Product Management and Business Stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure alignment with customer needs. Facilitate technical decision-making and promote engineering excellence across the team. Lead troubleshooting efforts, root cause analysis , and resolution for complex system issues. Support and enhance DevOps processes and cloud infrastructure automation where applicable. Stay up to date with industry trends, bringing innovative solutions and ideas to the platform. Technical Competencies: Strong hands-on experience in C#, ASP.NET, Angular , and SQL Server . Experience designing and building applications in Microsoft Azure , including the use of Azure App Services, Functions , and other PaaS components Proven experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development Deep familiarity with GIT , branching strategies, and code review practices Strong communication and leadership skills; able to lead by example and drive team accountability Comfortable working in an Agile environment with fast-moving priorities Qualification: Education : - BE / B. Tech / MCA Experience - 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or architecture role. Working days: 5 days a week Manager: This role reports into Project Manager
