Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Engineer to support the Tendering and Estimation Department. The role involves reviewing tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to identify risks, discrepancies, and missing items. The Technical Engineer will work closely with the Estimation team to ensure accurate, complete, and competitive project pricing.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, contract conditions, and technical specifications.
• Support the estimation process by providing technical clarifications, quantity-related inputs, and constructability feedback.
• Assist in preparing technical queries, clarifications, exclusions, and risk registers during the tender stage.
• Study and verify construction drawings to identify inconsistencies, technical risks, and scope gaps.
• Identify and highlight all technical risks, ambiguities, and missing items not included in the priced BOQ, and report them to the Estimation Department.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure full technical compliance with tender requirements.
• Use AutoCAD to review, interpret, and analyze drawings.
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, and official correspondence using Microsoft Office tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural).
• Experience in tender review and estimation support is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Good knowledge of estimation processes and tendering procedures.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP Certification is an advantage.
