Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements from HR, Benefits Administrators, and end-clients. Conduct workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to understand complex benefits workflows .
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications using Agile/Scrum practices. Maintain a centralized requirements traceability matrix (RTM) linking business needs to technical designs and test cases.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects and Developers to define technical approaches for benefits platform configuration, integrations, and automation. Document data flow diagrams, interface specifications, mapping rules, and error handling logic for EDI, HRIS, and payroll integrations. Define business rules and validation logic for enrollment, eligibility, and benefit calculations. Support the design of automated workflows for onboarding, renewals, and compliance reporting.
  • Prepare test scenarios, test data, and test case documentation for functional, integration, and regression testing. Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with business users and validate that the solution meets business objectives.
  • Track and resolve defects using Jira or Azure DevOps; collaborate with QA teams to ensure timely resolution. Serve as a single point of contact for business stakeholders during implementation, renewal, or support phases.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings, status updates, and conference calls with clients and internal teams. Ensure response time < 24 hours for all client queries—aligned with client SLAs. Contribute to client relationship management and long-term engagement through transparency, responsiveness, and quality delivery.
