Role Purpose
- Work as the bridge between client business teams, implementation partners and technical delivery teams, converting business needs into clear requirements, process maps, specifications, user stories, test cases and adoption documentation.
- Support end-to-end digital transformation engagements across ERP implementation, analytics, automation, workflow digitization and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Run discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews and process walkthroughs to understand current-state processes, pain points, controls, data flows and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, SRS documents, user stories, use cases, SOPs, process maps, workflow diagrams, test scenarios and UAT scripts.
- Support ERP implementation across platforms (E.g. Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Odoo, Zoho or similar systems) including module fitment, gap assessment, configuration discussions, master data, workflow approvals and reporting requirements.
- Work across functions such as finance, procurement, sales, inventory, manufacturing, projects, HR and operations.
- Define dashboards, MIS packs, KPIs, reporting logic, data fields, validation checks & reconciliation requirements for analytics and management reporting.
- Identify automation opportunities across approvals, alerts, reconciliations, document flows, handoffs, reminders and repetitive operational tasks.
- Convert manual activities into automation-ready use cases with triggers, business rules, exception handling, approval paths, audit trails, control checks and ownership points.
- Support automation and low-code/no-code discussions across tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Make, Zapier, Odoo workflows, ERP-native workflows and similar platforms.
- Document integration requirements across ERP, CRM, HRMS, finance systems, logistics, e-commerce, banking, third-party applications and analytics platforms.
- Prepare field mapping documents, data dictionaries, API-level notes, transformation rules, error-handling requirements and integration test scenarios.
- Coordinate UAT, defect tracking, user training, SOP creation, go-live readiness and post-go-live stabilization.
- Maintain action trackers, decision logs, issue logs, change request trackers and crisp client-ready status updates.
Required Experience & Skills
- 6-7 years of relevant experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Functional Consultant or Transformation Analyst.
- Prior exposure to business process transformation projects such as ERP implementation, automation, integrations, analytics, etc.
- Strong understanding of business processes areas such as finance, sales, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, HR, projects etc.
- Ability to create clear, delivery-ready documentation and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Good understanding of data flows, system integrations, APIs, workflow logic, reporting structures and testing discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, documentation tools and process mapping tools.
Preferred Exposure
- ERP: Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle NetSuite, Odoo, Zoho or similar platforms.
- Analytics: Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Excel dashboards or similar tools.
- Automation / Integration: Power Automate, UiPath, Make, Zapier, Celigo, Workato, Boomi or similar tools.
- Data: SQL basics, data validation, data mapping, reconciliation and report logic understanding.
- Consulting, implementation partner, client-facing transformation or PMO-led delivery experience.
