Job Description
Technical Architect / Head of Engineering
Location: Chennai (In-Office)
Experience: 5+ years
What you will do:
- Own technical architecture and engineering execution across the product
- Lead a team of 10+ engineers (backend, frontend, and DevOps)
- Work closely with the co-founder, product leadership, and engineering head
- Drive technical design, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices
- Oversee delivery of scalable and reliable product features
- Guide the team through technology evolution and platform improvements
- Play a key role in upcoming data architecture and database migration initiatives
- Mentor engineers and help scale the engineering culture and processes
Backend
- Node.js (primary)
- Python (used for analytics and AI/ML workflows)
Frontend
- Vue.js (current)
- Some modules migrating to React
Database
- MongoDB (current)
- Planned migration to PostgreSQL / data lake architecture for analytics
DevOps
- Dedicated DevOps team supporting CI/CD and infrastructure
