The platform is designed to support organizations in managing incidents, risks, audits, and sustainability initiatives through a fully integrated, user-friendly system.

Role Summary
We are looking for a passionate Principal Developer (Technical Architect) to join our team and contribute to building world-class, high-performance, enterprise-grade solutions for DNV’s products. The ideal candidate should embrace ethical values, transparency, and accountability, while being a quick learner who adapts to emerging technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise, a keen eye for quality, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
What The Role Will Do
QHSE Products Centre Development Teams are in Europe, and the customer base is spread geographically across the globe, with majority in North Europe. Therefore, it is important that candidate can work effectively in an international environment with team members from different cultures including but not limited to European culture.

This role requires strong technical expertise, a keen eye for quality, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
What The Role Will Do
- Provide technical architecture and engineering leadership for .NET-based SaaS applications within the Synergi Life product portfolio.
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend services, REST APIs, integrations, and cloud-native components using C#, .NET Core, Azure PaaS, and related technologies.
- Drive architecture decisions, apply design patterns and SOLID principles, and ensure solutions align with product strategy, quality expectations, and long-term maintainability.
- Improve development, testing, automation, CI/CD, observability, and deployment practices to increase delivery quality and engineering efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams across India and Europe to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers, promote engineering standards, and help the team adopt best practices in architecture, coding, testing, and secure software delivery.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and, when needed, customers to explain technical approaches, manage expectations, address feedback, and communicate delivery risks early.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to development, debugging, automation, deployment, and production support.

About You
Technical and process knowledge
- Seniority: 15+ years of experience in in software design, development, debugging, deployment and testing automation of .NET based applications, in different roles including QA automation, Full stack (focus on Back-end), and Tech Lead/Architect
- Proficient in the following programming languages and frameworks:
- Proficient in C# & .NET Core
- Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and Azure PaaS: Azure Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Logs
- Strong knowledge about CI/CD processes
- Experience with using design patterns and architecture principles, SOLID, TDD
- Experience with development and testing of REST APIs and relevant tools: Swagger, Postman
- Good database knowledge
- Able to perform all phases of software development.
- Able to apply best practices on architecture, improve processes, implement automation, develop team standards for quality, development and delivery.
- Able to manage stakeholder expectations and feedback throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Experience working with Risk Management solutions in the engineering space will be beneficial.
