Role Summary

We are looking for a passionate Principal Developer (Technical Architect) to join our team and contribute to building world-class, high-performance, enterprise-grade solutions for DNV’s products. The ideal candidate should embrace ethical values, transparency, and accountability, while being a quick learner who adapts to emerging technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise, a keen eye for quality, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

What The Role Will Do

• Provide technical architecture and engineering leadership for .NET-based SaaS applications within the Synergi Life product portfolio.
• Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend services, REST APIs, integrations, and cloud-native components using C#, .NET Core, Azure PaaS, and related technologies.
• Drive architecture decisions, apply design patterns and SOLID principles, and ensure solutions align with product strategy, quality expectations, and long-term maintainability.
• Improve development, testing, automation, CI/CD, observability, and deployment practices to increase delivery quality and engineering efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams across India and Europe to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers, promote engineering standards, and help the team adopt best practices in architecture, coding, testing, and secure software delivery.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and, when needed, customers to explain technical approaches, manage expectations, address feedback, and communicate delivery risks early.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to development, debugging, automation, deployment, and production support.

About You

Technical and process knowledge

• Seniority: 15+ years of experience in in software design, development, debugging, deployment and testing automation of .NET based applications, in different roles including QA automation, Full stack (focus on Back-end), and Tech Lead/Architect
• Proficient in the following programming languages and frameworks:
• Proficient in C# & .NET Core
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and Azure PaaS: Azure Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Logs
• Strong knowledge about CI/CD processes
• Experience with using design patterns and architecture principles, SOLID, TDD
• Experience with development and testing of REST APIs and relevant tools: Swagger, Postman
• Good database knowledge
• Able to perform all phases of software development.
• Able to apply best practices on architecture, improve processes, implement automation, develop team standards for quality, development and delivery.
• Able to manage stakeholder expectations and feedback throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
  
  

Domain Knowledge

• Experience working with Risk Management solutions in the engineering space will be beneficial.
