Job Summary 📌
We are seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Technical Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance data and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data architecture, cloud platforms (preferably AWS), data engineering, and analytics ecosystems, along with the ability to lead technical teams and drive enterprise data strategy.
This role requires a hands-on architect who can define end-to-end data architecture, guide engineering teams, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities 🚀
Architecture & Design
- Design and implement end-to-end data and analytics architectures
- Build scalable Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse solutions
- Define data models and architecture standards
- Create architecture diagrams and technical documentation
- Establish enterprise-level data architecture frameworks
Cloud Data Platforms
- Architect cloud-based data solutions (AWS preferred)
- Design data platforms using:
- Amazon S3
- AWS Glue
- Amazon Redshift
- Athena
- EMR
- Lambda
- Kafka/Kinesis
- DMS
- RDS
- DynamoDB
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and cost optimization
Data Engineering & Integration
- Design ETL/ELT pipelines
- Define data ingestion strategies
- Support batch and real-time data processing
- Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, applications)
Analytics & Reporting
- Enable self-service analytics platforms
- Support BI tools such as Tableau, or QuickSight
- Design optimized data models for analytics workloads
Leadership & Technical Guidance 👔
- Provide technical leadership to data engineering teams
- Conduct architecture reviews and design sessions
- Mentor data engineers and technical leads
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders
- Drive best practices and standards
Data Governance & Security 🔐
- Define data governance frameworks
- Implement data quality standards
- Ensure data security and compliance
- Implement access controls and encryption
Performance & Optimization
- Optimize data pipelines and queries
- Improve data platform performance
- Ensure high availability and scalability
Required Skills & Qualifications 🎯
Experience
- 15–20+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years in Data Architecture or Technical Architecture
- Experience designing enterprise data platforms
