As a member of the founding talent acquisition team, you will play a crucial role in defining the talent identity of this organization from its inception.

This is a full-stack recruiting position with significant ownership responsibilities, perfect for individuals who flourish in fast-paced, uncertain environments and are passionate about building systems rather than merely filling positions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of the complete recruitment process for roles in AI, data science, ML engineering, product, design, and platform functions across various levels.

  • Collaborate closely with business and technology leaders to identify hiring requirements, create interview processes, and ensure swift, high-quality decision-making in hiring
  • Devise innovative sourcing methods to attract elite tech professionals from FAANG companies, startups, and research ecosystems, including H1B/returnee talent pools, deep-tech networks, and AI laboratories
  • Establish and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates through both inbound and outbound channels such as LinkedIn, GitHub, Kaggle, AI communities, referrals, and industry events
  • Implement a structured evaluation process that includes technical assessments, case studies, and cultural fit interviews in collaboration with hiring managers
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience by balancing speed, thoroughness, and transparency throughout the hiring process
  • Monitor and report on key Talent Acquisition metrics, including pipeline velocity, offer-to-join ratios, diversity indicators, and channel effectiveness
  • Work alongside the Talent Acquisition Head to put hiring frameworks, ATS workflows, and talent intelligence dashboards into action

Preferred Background

3-7 years of recruiting experience

At least 3 years of experience in technical hiring, with a focus on AI / ML / Data / Product / Engineering domains being advantageous.

Experience in startup environments or organizations in the early stages of development.

  • Robust understanding of contemporary AI talent profiles, including researchers, data engineers, ML platform engineers, applied scientists, and design researchers
  • Demonstrated success in directly sourcing and engaging with specialized talent markets

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • A data-driven mindset with proficiency in utilizing ATS tools, dashboards, and hiring analytics

A strong passion for technology, the future of work, and building organizations that set new standards.
