Job Title: Teamcenter Administrator (Siemens PLM)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Administrator to manage, maintain, and support the Siemens Teamcenter PLM environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system administration, user management, performance optimization, upgrades, troubleshooting, and ensuring the availability, security, and reliability of the Teamcenter platform. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, IT infrastructure, and business teams to support product lifecycle management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Siemens Teamcenter environments.
- Perform Teamcenter upgrades, patches, hotfixes, deployments, and environment migrations.
- Administer users, roles, groups, access controls, and security policies.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability; identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Configure and maintain Teamcenter data model using BMIDE.
- Manage Teamcenter modules such as:
- Active Workspace (AWC)
- Workflow Designer
- Structure Manager
- My Teamcenter
- Organization
- Access Manager
- BOM Management
- Change Management
- Document Management
- Support CAD integrations (NX, Solid Edge, CATIA) and enterprise system integrations (ERP, SAP, etc.).
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support deployment of customizations, ITK utilities, RAC components, and SOA services.
- Work closely with developers and business users to implement enhancements.
- Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configurations.
- Provide end-user support, training, and incident resolution.
- Ensure system compliance with security and organizational standards.
Required Skills:
- 4–10+ years of experience administering Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
- Strong understanding of Teamcenter 2-Tier and 4-Tier architecture.
- Experience with Teamcenter installation, configuration, upgrades, and Deployment Center (DCC).
- Expertise in BMIDE, Workflow Designer, Access Manager, Organization, Query Builder, and Structure Manager.
- Knowledge of Active Workspace (AWC) administration.
- Experience with Teamcenter database administration and SQL.
- Familiarity with Teamcenter integrations (NX, ERP/SAP, CAD).
- Knowledge of Teamcenter SOA, ITK, RAC, and Dispatcher.
- Experience with Windows/Linux server administration.
- Scripting experience using PowerShell, Shell, Python, or Perl is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of LDAP, SSO, Kerberos, or SAML authentication.
- Experience working in Agile/ITIL environments.
- Siemens Teamcenter certifications are preferred.
