Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Team Manager role based in Surat. The Team Manager is responsible for leading and supervising a sales team to achieve targets for products such as Home Loans, Life Insurance, and General Insurance. Daily activities include planning and allocating sales tasks, monitoring performance, coaching team members, and ensuring adherence to company processes and compliance standards. The role involves meeting prospective clients, supporting the team in closing sales, and coordinating with internal stakeholders for smooth operations. The Team Manager is expected to maintain accurate reporting, drive customer-centric behavior, and contribute to continuous improvement in sales effectiveness.
Qualifications

  • Strong people management and leadership abilities, including team supervision, performance monitoring, and coaching.
  • Sales and business development experience in financial services, preferably in housing finance, insurance, or related retail products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Sound understanding of basic financial concepts and willingness to learn product features across home loans and insurance offerings.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment, with strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using common office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM systems) for reporting and tracking.
  • Graduate degree in any discipline; a postgraduate qualification in business, finance, or marketing is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in managing a field sales team or branch-level operations will be considered a strong asset.
