We are looking for a Team Leader - Materials Management, who ensures that installation sites fully comply with KONE standards. The role involves proactively identifying and resolving issues to prevent interruptions to installation activities, including effective communication with customers when required. The Team Leader is accountable for delivering right first-time quality through safe working methods and best practices.

We are looking for a Team Leader - Materials Management, who ensures that installation sites fully comply with KONE standards. The role involves proactively identifying and resolving issues to prevent interruptions to installation activities, including effective communication with customers when required. The Team Leader is accountable for delivering right first-time quality through safe working methods and best practices.
Team Leader - Materials Management is responsible for the planning, procurement, storage, and distribution of elevator components, spare parts, and safety equipment, ensuring uninterrupted production and field maintenance operations.
What will you do?
- Inventory Control & Accuracy: Maintaining accurate inventory records for, and managing, all storage locations, including reconciliation of errors, and conducting cycle counts.
- Component Storage & Handling: Ensuring all equipment (controllers, door equipment, hoist machines) is stored in accordance with OEM requirements, including long-term preservation, and overseeing offsite storage yards.
- Logistics & Distribution: Managing the receipt of materials from suppliers, inspecting incoming goods, and organizing the safe, timely distribution of components to job sites or production lines.
- Supplier Coordination: Working closely with suppliers on correct documentation for materials received and managing returns.
- Team Leadership: Supervising, training, and certifying material handlers and forklift operators.
- Diploma in Engineering or ITI/Vocational Certification in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or a related field
- 5-10+ years of experience in procurement, materials planning, or warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
- Proficiency with storage systems (SAP & Excel),
- strong knowledge of inventory management.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical specifications.
- Proficient in both English and Arabic, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
